Prolonged travel restrictions could lead to nearly 3 million job losses in the tourism sector. The news comes as a result of COVID-19s impact on the industry and is according to data from the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC). The plans would work by allowing the UK and other countries to set up special deals which would allow travel between nations if certain circumstances were met. The UK Government has allowed people that live alone to form a ‘Support Bubble’ with another household. The plans are also available to single parents and allow them to now visit another household inside the home instead of outside. The idea is to help those who may be isolated cope with loneliness.
