Virtual Solutions – August 2020 in Review
Virtual Solutions – August 2020 in Review
So far this year we’ve seen a huge shift towards remote working and the introduction of a global ‘new normal’ as the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to affect industries on all levels.
As a largely remote working company, we were able to shift gears pretty quickly, and have been active in supporting our clients, growing our business, and developing new opportunities in our local communities.
The proof of the team’s efforts can be seen in the four new awards we’re delighted to have won.
Our company is now the proud holder of the:
- M&A Today Global Award: Best Hospitality Marketing Agency 2020
- Corp Today Magazine 2020 Award: Excellence in Digital Marketing & CX
- Greater London Enterprise Award: Most Innovative Global Digital F&B Marketing Experts
- 2020 Media Innovator Award: Best Hospitality Digital Marketing Specialists
Exciting New Clients and Innovations Ahead
Not one to rest on our laurels, we’ve been spending time developing new connections and are delighted to welcome onboard new clients:
- Doner and Gyros RAK
We’ve also been working with Jannah Hotels in the UAE, and have some wonderful feedback to share:
“Working with you was a great pleasure. It shows very high levels of professionalism in auditing, driving and implementing the best practices in digital marketing and social media management.
Virtual Solutions UK will definitely be on top of my preferred and recommended companies.
We will be in touch again in Q4 to discuss further partnerships with you and the team.”
– Ossama Charrouf, Vice President (Sales and Marketing), Jannah Hotels & Resorts
Exceeding client expectations and providing a 5-star service as standard is one of our main motivations, and it’s been a delight to work with Jannah Hotels – we can’t wait to see what future collaborations will bring.
With so many events going digital, we’ve made sure to take full advantage of the wide selection of webinars and conferences available, with our team following the latest news and trends in creative design, the future of live events, hospitality and the impact of COVID, and how marketing will change in 2021 and beyond.
It’s our firm belief that developing our team and staying on the cutting edge of marketing initiatives doesn’t just help us grow as a company but allows us to better serve our clients.
Support doesn’t just stop with our clients and team though! We are currently in the early stages of developing a brand new co-working space, which will provide office facilities, meeting and interview rooms, and much more for our local community. We’ll have more on this as the project gains momentum.
Fresh Growth and New Potential
We’ve been taking a new approach on our latest Facebook advice posts with ‘bloggles,’ the posts are a twist on the literary concept of ‘drabbles’ – 100 word pieces that offer a complete story or scene. Our bloggles do the same, but with useful insights and information! Why not check them out (and if you’re going to count the words, make sure you include the title)!
Due to popular demand, Virtual Solutions has been developing a brand-new arm of the business: Virtual Solutions Global, which will assist clients in a wide range of industries beyond hospitality and restaurants. There’s plenty of new features, articles, and updates to come, so make sure you bookmark the page!
And as you might expect, to continue providing the best service at every stage, we’ve grown our team in response. We’re delighted to welcome Renz Evasco to the Virtual Solutions family, he joins our expert Graphic Design team, so look forward to his incredible work!
We’ve been developing our community supporting group, A Taste of Devon, and were invited by Graze by Dish to review their delicious Graze Box, and wow – we can certainly vouch for the deliciousness of their goods! You can read all about it here.
Other News from the Team
Our Founder & CEO Dawn was busy last month, offering insights into How Video Increases Brand Engagement, and being interviewed by PMQ for their series on How to Thrive in a Pandemic. On a personal level, she and her eldest son were also interviewed twice by Sky News, with her comments featuring in the Sun, regarding the A-Level results.
Our PR spokesman Sam has been involved in projects connected to the continuing effects of COVID on the restaurant industry, and the level of governmental support provided. He interviewed Small Business Minister, Paul Scully MP for Curry Life Magazine, asking the questions that really needed answers.
